Jonathan Sessler Named Honorable Member of the Israel Chemical Society

Professor Jonathan Sessler will become the 2025 Honorable Member of the Israel Chemical Society for his pioneering discoveries of texaphyrins and other expanded porphyrins, for applying them as effective anticancer therapeutics, and for his ongoing support of the Israeli scientific community.

The award ceremony will occur on February 10, 2026, during the 89th ICS Annual Meeting.
