MALDI MSI is a powerful tool that enables spatial assessment of drugs, metabolites, lipids, and many other compounds, but can be further augmented by the incorporation of analytical techniques, including immunohistochemistry and spatial transcriptomics. We perform these types of analyses on a multitude of spatial scales, spanning from single organelles to whole organisms, to understand human health and disease. We've also expanded these analyses to understanding the molecular effects following different types of exposures.
